in the countries Macedonia (FYROM), Serbia as well as in Croatia, Slovenia and other EU countries – still everybody (regardless of the nationality) has the right to seek for asylum.
Through the closing down of the “corridor” (official passage is possible only for people from afghanistan, syria, iraq) and the division of people into nationalities, many people are stuck in greece.
If people are going over non official bordercrossings and get out of the border zone (for example Macedonia) they should be able to seek for asylum there. In reality in the last days many deportations are happening back to Greece. The police/army is not respecting the right of the people to seek for asylum.
If you are in a situation where you need support, there is a number of a macedonian lawyer team, the line is open 24 hours and free of cost.
